Scott Klumb is a professional photographer and filmmaker. For the past ten years, he has been filming documentary projects in different fields, including action sports. Based in Boulder, CO, Scott Klumb owns and runs his own film production company, SMK Media. His company has produced award-winning work that has been submitted to international film festivals. His work has also been featured on ESPN, Vimeo, and YouTube.
SMK Media works on various media projects involving photography and film. In 2020, the company produced a short documentary titled COVID-19 Boulder, Colorado. The documentary showcased the city during the coronavirus pandemic. The film portrayed the changes that the city underwent once lockdown measures were in place. The filmmaker captured the city’s empty streets, highlighting a particularly quiet Easter Sunday. Other locations filmed include the Pearl Street Mall as well as CU campus. The film was released on Vimeo on August 7, 2020.
